About Us

Rainbow of Hope Animal Rescue, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of vulnerable animals. Founded on compassion and driven by purpose, we work tirelessly to rescue animals from neglect, abandonment, and unsafe environments, providing them with the care and support they need to recover and thrive.

Our organization is built on a foundation of collaboration. Through a network of volunteers, foster caregivers, and veterinary professionals, we are able to respond quickly to animals in need and provide both immediate and long-term care. From emergency rescues to rehabilitation and adoption placement, every step of our process is guided by a commitment to animal welfare and responsible care.

We believe that meaningful change begins with action. By combining rescue efforts with community education and outreach, we aim not only to save lives but also to prevent future suffering. Our work reflects a simple but powerful belief, that every animal deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to live a full and happy life.

The Founder

Rainbow of Hope Animal Rescue was established through a vision to create a safe and reliable system for rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Jonathan Soma founded the organization with a deep commitment to addressing the growing challenges faced by abandoned and neglected animals.

Recognizing the gaps in animal welfare support and the increasing number of animals without proper care, the founder set out to build an organization that combines compassion with structure and accountability. Through dedication and leadership, Rainbow of Hope has grown into a trusted organization focused on both immediate rescue efforts and long-term solutions.

The founder’s approach emphasizes not only saving lives but also building awareness, strengthening communities, and promoting responsible animal care practices.

“Every animal deserves more than survival, they deserve care, safety, and the chance to be loved. What began as a simple effort to help animals in need has grown into a mission to create lasting change.

We have seen animals come from fear and suffering into environments where they are valued and protected. That transformation is what drives our work every day. It is not just about rescue, it is about restoring trust and giving every animal the opportunity to live the life they deserve.

This mission cannot be achieved alone. It requires a community of people who care, who are willing to act, and who believe that compassion should guide how we treat all living beings. Together, we can continue to make a difference, one life at a time.”

Vision

Our vision is to create a world where every animal is safe, valued, and treated with compassion. We strive for a future where animal cruelty, neglect, and abandonment are no longer realities, and where communities take active responsibility in protecting animal welfare.

We envision a society where every animal has access to proper care, a safe environment, and a loving home.

Mission

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need while promoting awareness, education, and responsible pet ownership.

We are committed to providing immediate intervention for animals in distress, ensuring access to medical care, and creating pathways for adoption into safe and loving homes. Through our work, we aim to reduce animal suffering and build a more compassionate and responsible community.
